　もうすっかり市民権を得たという感じのSkypeのベータバージョン（1.1.0.34-beta）が出てます。

　５０人とのチャット〔feature: chat with up to 50 users〕（オレは使わんな）と、アイコンやコンタクトリストなどの見た目・使い勝手が変わってます。日本語のファイルが対象になっているかは分かりませんが〔change: updated many language files〕とありますので、その筋の方々はチェックしてみてください。

　ダウンロードには日本語のダウンロードページではなく、本家のダウンロードページへ行ってください。一応、【advanced users only】とゆーことなので、そーゆー人のみお試しください。

はりきって報告しましたが、問題アリアリのようです。
リソースを大量に使うし、IMは相手に届かないそうです（なんじゃ、そりゃ!?）。

Excessive resource usage.
Skype for Windows 1.1 Beta may use considerably more processor and memory resources than previous versions.

Problems detecting downgrading.
When you are using the new Skype Chat to communicate with your contacts and some of them downgrade back to 1.0, your Instant Messages may not reach them.
